Blended Choco-Latte Wig Review

As I have mentioned in a previous entry I have had trouble with wearing my natural hair in a lolita style 24/7 and so am more in favor of sporting wigs. Over the past year I have become enchanted with lolita wigs, they allow you to completely transform your look in only a few moments, it's almost magical!

I decided that my favorite kind of wig was the sort that had the two detachable ponytails, this hairstyle is very unique to lolita fashion and in my opinion is the epitome of cute. For Christmas I had asked my Mum for the Blended Choco Latte (short version) wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs. I was delighted when I unwrapped my presents and found my dream wig under the tree.

Ok, so I wasn't actually part of the communication process of this particular wig considering that it was a gift for me, but I have purchased two other wigs from Gothic Lolita Wigs before and they've always been more than helpful. They gave my Mum no problems and it's a walk in the park compared to ordering lolita from out of the country.

Gothic Lolita Wigs offers free shipping within the United States which is definitely a bonus. The company shipped quickly and my wig arrived within 4 days of it being ordered. The wig itself came in a padded envelope and was sealed in a clear, zip lock bag with cardboard inserts to keep it sturdy. 

Wig Quality: 4.5/5

The wig itself is fantastic. The Choco-Latte Blend is exactly what I wanted! The colour is a beautiful sandy blond with small slivers of brown which are really only noticeable towards the bottom of the tresses. The wig itself is full, soft and easily detangled. It came with two clip in ponytails that are very easy to attach to the wig base. My only complaint, and this is a small one, is that where the fringe ends you can see your hairline/wig cap unless you position the wig just right and anchor it into place with bobby pins. This is not necessarily a detriment, just an inconvenience as wigs from MintyMix are styled to prevent this problem.

Overall I couldn't recommend my wig more! I've worn it out several times now and have received many compliments on it, many people even asked me if it was my real hair! If you are ordering this wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs I wouldn't hesitate as it's so lovely you won't regret it! 

Candy Sweet Beautiful Girl

The shop bell jingled as sweet loli walked in,

Glowing glittered lips, flowing pastel curls,

All the patrons gazed and held their breath,

For the candy sweet beautiful girl.

As she looked around a smile crept on her face,

She whispered "What a cute little diner",

Though I'd seen many ladies dressed up to the nines,

I knew that no one else could out shine her.

She sipped a mint milkshake through a pink plastic straw,

As she quietly hummed along,

To the radio station we heard every day,

As it played an upbeat Elvis song.

She wiggled her feet, her blue shoes were not suede,

But lovely and topped with small bows,

Brought out a small compact and laughed when she saw,

A wee glob of whipped cream on her nose.

My heart filled with frills but I felt sort of down,

As sweet loli trotted out the door,

But she left me a tip and wrote on her receipt,

"I will come back to see you some more".
